PLAYING SHAKESPEARE - LONDON
An exclusive week-long Shakespeare workshop
With Donnacadh O’Briain
From May 11th – 15th, 2009
10 am – 5pm
Jackson’s Lane Theatre
Highgate, London
The Workshop
“A great week of learning and ‘light bulb’ moments, thanks for such valuable practical insights into Shakespeare. More please!” – Participant, PLAYING SHAKESPEARE – DUBLIN.
Designed to demystify and unlock the full emotional and dramatic potential of Shakespeare’s text, the course will help actors overcome their fear of the verse and provide them with tools to claim the power of Shakespeare’s language for themselves. For one week a group of up to fifteen actors will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how to approach the most archetypal roles in English theatre.
“The way in which the information was packaged and delivered was easily assimilated. Very reasonably priced. It was loads of fun.” – Participant, PLAYING SHAKESPEARE – DUBLIN.
